This page explains the cookies ventureease.biz uses and the choices you have. We keep it plain: this site sets only a small number of essential cookies to make it work. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers here, and we do not sell your data. Each VentureEase product (StartEase, LaunchEase, HireEase) has its own cookie and privacy policy for data within that app.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser so it can remember something — for example, that you are signed in, or that you have already answered the cookie banner. Some cookies are essential; others are optional and used only with your permission.
2. Essential cookies (always active)
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They are first-party (set by ventureease.biz), and they do not track you across other sites.
- Session (
VBIZ_SESSID) — keeps you signed in while you use your account. Set withHttpOnly,SecureandSameSite=Lax; it clears when you close the browser and times out after 24 minutes of inactivity. - Remember me (
VBIZ_REMEMBER) — optional. Only set if you tick “remember me” at sign-in, so you stay signed in on this device for up to 14 days. Signing out removes it. - Cookie choice (
cookie_consent) — remembers the preference you set on the cookie banner (for one year) so we do not ask again.
We protect forms and account actions against cross-site request forgery using request headers, not a tracking cookie.
3. Analytics cookies (optional — none set today)
We do not currently set any analytics cookies on this site. If we introduce privacy-respecting, first-party analytics in the future, it will load only after you opt in on the banner or in Cookie preferences, and it would never be sold or shared with advertising networks. Until then, choosing “Accept all” and “Essential only” results in the same cookies — the choice simply records your preference for that future.
4. Payments
This site does not process payments, so no payment or checkout cookies are set here. If you subscribe to a paid plan on one of our products (LaunchEase or HireEase), that happens on the product’s own site under its own policy.
5. Single sign-on (SSO)
When you sign in and open a VentureEase product from your dashboard, we sign you in there using a short-lived signed token — not a shared cross-site tracking cookie. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
6. Your choices
- On your first visit, the banner lets you Accept all, choose Essential only, or Customize the analytics toggle.
- You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
- You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings — but blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in.
